Ballyheigue long sandy beach in County Kerry

Ballyheigue is a sandy beach. The beach is within a
designated Special Area of Conservation and runs from the village of Ballyheigue southwards for over 3km as far as Black Rock or to the outlet from Lough Akeragh.

The beach is lifeguard patrolled throughout the bathing season the lifeguard schedule is displayed on the information noticeboard at the beach.

Ballyheigue is a blue-flag Beach in kerry

From Tralee, take the R551 north to the town of Ballyheigue.
